I am very passionate about my family. I have an inspiring husband who had been a tremederous support for me in my professional and personal front. He played a crucial role in transforming me from a tender to a strong personality (which I occassionally use against him :-P)
My next passion is my work. I am very enthusiatic and more inclined to my profession. I’m passionate about education too. I aspire to open a school, a school for next generation. In my vision, mistakes happen at all age, as by the popular saying 'Mistakes are the stepping stone to success'. But with the current educational system, mistakes are treated as crime. I visualize a school where mistakes are encouraged.
Though technology has taken a rapid advancement,its not utilized to its fullest means, I am looking to make technology reach from primary grades at my school by providing PC at every desk. In my School I encourage every child to learn more from media apart from the daily lectures, to help them clarify their doubt at the very moment it arises rather than hearing from the teacher's age old 'I will get back to you later' or 'This is how things work' kind of reply.
Coming to the grading system, In my perpespective it isn't appropriate to measure a student's IQ by mear marks and grade. Hence at my school , Performance of a student is measured in terms of his own performance, an anlaysis report on his performance from previous term to current term. Analysis on every individual's performance encourages a student to have competetion with oneself rather than with his class mate.
Ultimately ,I look for my school to eradicate all differences be it in status or culture.
